Hugs For FASD was born from a deep, personal place—a place where love, advocacy, and faith come together.
As a parent of children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), I’ve seen how the world often overlooks what it doesn’t understand. I’ve seen my children—and so many others—misjudged, excluded, and expected to fit into systems that were never built for them.
FASD is an invisible, lifelong brain-based disability that affects at least 1 in 20 people. Yet most people have never even heard of it.
We’re here to change the conversation.
At Hugs For FASD, we raise awareness for FASD and other co-occurring, brain-based invisible disabilities.
But more than that—we spread empathy, radical love, and inclusion in a world that often chooses judgment.
We believe in:

- Creating space for every voice, every brain, and every story
Our mission is grounded in faith.
We live by the greatest commandment to love others.
That means all others—especially those the world too often pushes aside.

- Remind people they are worthy—just as they are
Our dream?
To one day grow into a business that offers inclusive employment for individuals with FASD and other neurodivergent conditions—people who may not thrive in traditional job settings but who deserve to be valued and seen.
